Bubble Wrap continues and once again, you missed it! But we’re here to tell you all about it so you won’t feel left out.
We enjoyed “Mr. Whetherman” from UK band Hanford Flyover‘s new release Hanford Tape Sessions, a surprisingly good record for such an obviously thrown together collecction. Meinfreak from Berlin gave us a new album, Schliefe. We played “Blütenmeergewehr,” which translates roughly as “Sea of Flowers,” and will play more in the future.
We even found a song from a Vermont band, Clever Girls, who were decent enough to email us a link to it. Thank you, Clever Girls! We debuted “Spark.” We liked Kid Dakota’s “Futurecide” too, a song that seems to be about skipping the future although where he plans to go for it is left up in the air, literally.
This week’s mainstream pop hit was “Main Thing” by Ariana Grande, courtesy of our source for this kind of thing, Fluxblog. Athough not our thing, it wasn’t bad, although we decided that Ariana is now old school.
What can we say? It was another week. The list is below for your review….
